Ok, so here is some information for those of you who have asked about how I arrange my folders for a project. Before this I had junk everywhere. I am still finding random projects that I had no idea I still had from before I adopted this system from Northpoint Church.
Here’s the path from the top. I run all my projects off a 1TB drive that I’ve called “Active Drive.” Path: Active Drive – Projects – Client Name – Client Project. Below is a screen shot of all the folders I set up within the Client Project folder. The “Elements” folder holds any content that I use for my projects such as PS files, .MOV files that I have rendered down from AE for a project, and any other random stuff.
You will find very quickly that your life will be so much better after organizing your folders.
